My 7-Day Gym Program

Balancing a full-time job with caring for my incredible pack of seven Alaskan Malamutes is a rewarding challenge. To keep up with their energy and enjoy training and running together, I’m committed to improving my fitness, losing weight, and building muscle.

This 7-day gym-based program is designed to help me shed weight (from 100kg to 85kg), gain strength, and boost endurance — all essential for sled training and outdoor adventures with my dogs during the snow-free months.

Each day focuses on a mix of strength, conditioning, and core work, tailored to prepare me for the physical demands of running and pulling sleds or tyres with the pack. I’m tracking my progress carefully with a weekly log, aiming to share the journey here on the blog.
